This is an aluminum spare wheel delete cover kit for the Land Rover Defender L663.

We have designed this kit, and the aluminum panels are manufactured and painted in the UK.

The spare wheel adds a lot of weight to the back door which is noticeable when opening and closing the door (especially if you're on an incline!) – the spare wheel also restricts visibility out of the back window.

You might want to remove the spare wheel to make opening the back door easier or just because you prefer the look without it.

However, removing the spare wheel leaves the 2 bracket recesses visible along with the fixing holes.

You can use this kit to fit into the recesses and cover the holes to leave a cleaner-looking back door.

This kit is designed to have exposed bolt heads (stainless steel) to give a rugged ‘Defender' ‘-looking finish.

Included in this kit:

• 2x aluminum cover panels painted in Tasman Blue
• 6x stainless steel allen head bolts
• 6x acrylic spacers
• 2x gaskets (for cover panels)
• Vinyl washer and blank kit

As you remove your spare wheel, you should carry an emergency tyre sealant in case of a puncture.

These covers are painted in Tasman Blue so they can be colour coded to your Defender.
