• To get this thing working, you need to do some programming. Use the JLR SDD software and go to the ‘Replace ECU’ option in the KVM diagnostics menu. To set it up, you’ll need at least two keys. Or you can use SX-CAN or JET Master Engineering software for KVM programming. DOIP VCI or SX DOIP+CAN VCI is required.
• You can only program this unit once. There’s no going back. Once it’s programmed, it’s locked, and you can’t change it. Make sure all keys are programmed together during the initial setup because any missed keys won’t work and can’t be added later. If you need more keys down the line, you’ll have to replace the whole KVM unit.
