CROSS BAR Mount Clamp Kit for the Land Rover Discovery 5 – Kit D (Black)

This listing is for a cross bar accessory mount kit for the Land Rover Discovery 5.

This listing is for a PAIR of these so you will get 2 sets of clamps/brackets – enough to mount a lightbar.

We noticed a general lack of roof accessory mounting options for cross bars – so we engineered our own solution!

Note: that these are designed specifically for the cross bars – these are NOT suitable for the Discovery 5 roof rack.

We have put together several kit options – this kit includes a pair of our clamps PLUS a pair of stainless steel end plates finished in Black powder coat.

We have used this kit to mount a light bar to the roof of our Defender – see photos/video.

Although you can use the T-slots in the rails, we wanted something more chunky and adaptable that spreads the load on the underside of the cross rail.

All of the metal parts in this kit are stainless steel, so they will resist corrosion.

The blocks are 3D printed in-house – 3D printing leaves layer lines and a texture on the top surfaces. This is a characteristic of this method, but it gives a satisfactory finish.

This kit is shaped to fit the cross bars, which are sold by Land Rover as an accessory for the Discovery 5.
