This is a unique ‘MOLLE Plate' kit for the Land Rover Defender L663 (90 models).

With luggage space limited to 90, this is a great way to add extra space.

This kit allows you to mount a side gear carrier box on the LHS of your vehicle, which is impossible without this kit.

As well as adding style these also provide security and privacy for items stored in the rear.

NOTE – The LH molle plate does require a hole to be drilled under the waist rail ( not visible ) to form the rear mounting
point – see video

So, what is a MOLLE Plate? MOLLE is an acronym for Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment.

It is a modular system that allows for the attached various accessories (a system developed and widely used in the armed forces).

Following the success of our Defender 110 Molle Plates we have designed this version for the 90 models.

Note: You need to have the Defender roof rails fitted to install these molle plates as they use the same fitting method as the Defender accessories like the ladder and gearbox.

We have packed the plate with a range of different shaped features and apertures to allow the fitting of the attachments and accessories.

We have added extra holes to allow you to mount a Land Rover Side Gear Box to these Molle Plates – see item FIX480 for a fixing kit.

These things also look cool and add a rugged practical look to your Defender!

We've sourced top-quality components, including stainless fixings and custom-made fittings, to create a premium product.

The plates are made in the UK from 3mm aluminum (so they're lightweight) and powder-coated in Black.

This listing is for a full molle plate kit, which includes both the left and right plates. See our other listings to purchase just one side.

In this kit, you will receive:

• Left-hand '90' aluminum Molle Plate in Powder Coated Black
• Right-hand '90' aluminum Molle Plate in Powder Coated Black
• Drilling/Cutting template to expose the captive nuts
• Full-fitting Fixing kit including stainless steel top mount eyelets

These molle plates are relatively easy to fit with some basic skills – just watch our step-by-step video below.

When fitting make sure that the molle plate is not touching the side panel of the car (paintwork).

We do not recommend fitting more than 15 kg to the molle plate.

Which Vehicles will this fit?

• This item WILL fit the Land Rover Defender L663 90 models – Note: you need to have the roof rails installed on your vehicle (this molle plates are compatible with cross bars and the expedition roof rack)
• This item WILL NOT fit the Land Rover Defender L663 110 or 130 models.
