The Assistance Service of Adaptive Front-Lighting (ASF)
What does the Adaptive Front-Lighting System Light mean?
Depending on the type of adaptive lighting in your car, this warning light could mean a few things.
Headlights that turn on automatically or those that can adjust brightness use light sensors typically mounted in the windshield. Direction-changing headlights use yaw and pitch sensors to determine the position of the vehicle and then adjust the headlights using motors. A malfunctioning sensor or any issues with the functioning of the motor can cause this warning indicator to turn on. Replacing your headlights on your Landrover/Range Rover with after-the-market lights would also not synchronize with the car however this should not hold you back from buying them, just call us and we can program the AFS headlights to the car.
We can connect to the car using our manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover software and we can read the error code, the error code in the car’s memory would help us diagnose the issue. Have the car scanned by a qualified technician and have any necessary updates installed and programmed to the car.
Call us now to make sure your lights are working fine.
